Nail-biting time for call centre awards finalists
THE finalists have been chosen for the 3rd annual North West call and contact centre awards. As we went to press, the judges were visiting and meeting those on the shortlists to choose the winners. They will be announced at a dinner in Liverpool on October 16th.

Contact centre manager (50-plus seats): Marie Rawlinson, BT; Jeremy Keigan, United Utilities; Hayley Trow, LBM.

Team (under 25 team members): Merseytravel, Arvato Services, Echo Team - Department for Children, Schools and Families
Contact centre (under 50 seats): Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Liverpool Housing Trust, Granby Marketing Services.
Contact centre (50-plus seats, private sector): Vodafone, Glen Dimplex, United Utilities, DSGi Business.
Contact Centre (50-plus seats, public sector): Cheshire Police, Liverpool Direct.
There are also awards for agent, team leader, trainer/coach and support person of the year.
